On December 24th, CBS Standard FM’s “Kim Hyun-jung’s News Show” announced that NewJeans would participate in the program recording. At the end of that day’s show, host Kim Hyun-jung previewed: “Tomorrow we will prepare a Christmas special. The first part will be news broadcasting as usual, and in the second part, we will hold a mini concert with five girls—Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein. See you tomorrow.” When introducing, Kim Hyun-jung did not mention NewJeans’ group name, but directly introduced them by their members’ names.
However, ADOR released a statement: “This is an activity that the artists decided to participate in without consulting with the management company, and the company was not informed in advance.”
