BLACKPINK’s Jisoo’s New Drama ‘Newtopia’ Releases First Trailer.
The drama follows the story of soldier Lee Chae-yoon (played by Park Jung-min) and Kang Young-joo (played by Jisoo) as they navigate through zombie-infested downtown Seoul, racing to save each other.
‘Newtopia’ marks Jisoo’s second leading role following ‘Snowdrop’.
During the drama’s production press conference, when asked about her acting, Jisoo shared: “I do feel pressure because of the attention, but I believe pressure can also be a driving force. I constantly sought advice from the director and fellow actors on set, received a lot of help, and prepared thoroughly. I hope everyone will watch and share their thoughts.”
‘Newtopia’ is set to premiere on Coupang Play at 8 PM on February 7th.
